The R4 release has a 5.1 soundtrack in the original Mandarin Chinese (unfortunately with forced English subtitles).
If you need English subtitles, the next best choice is actually a draw between the two R1 editions and the R3. The American edition and the R3 have better extras, but the Canadian edition has the better transfer, according to DVD Beaver, whose comparison you will find by clicking the link below: -
