The new R1 Anniversary Edition US release is uncut, however the transfer is 4:3, it does include a Widescreen version however that version is missing an additional scene.

The Old R1 US release is uncut, however only 4:3 plus includes a documentary that has been omitted from the new Anniversary Edition. Fans might want to pick up both old and new R1 releases, otherwise the choice is yours as to what is more important.

Two versions of this film exist:
(1.) The theatrical version which is missing the "Love is Gone" song (86 minutes NTSC = 82 minutes PAL).
(2.) The extended director's cut preferred by director Brian Henson (89 minutes NTSC = 85 minutes PAL).
