The film started life as a no-budget movie by Brett Piper titled "Dying Day" before being re-edited with new footage by distributor Samuel M. Sherman.
CUTS:
- R1 America- Image Entertainment - No cuts - features the theatrical version (85:24 NTSC), as well as the earlier unfinished workprint versions "Dying Day" (80:06 NTSC) and "Dark Night" (72:09).
- R2 United Kingdom- Cinema Club - No cuts (85:33 PAL).
