The identical US and Canadian 3D releases include both 3D and 2D versions of the film with the lengthiest extras.
The identical US and Canadian 30th Anniversary Edition releases include some exclusive new extras, but drops many of the Diamond Edition extras and only has the 2D version.
Notes about the earlier DVD releases:
- In the original releases, the aspect ratio was 1.66:1.
- Art galleries and "Ride the Attraction" (with audio commentary by VP Tony Baxter) are missing from the Blu-ray.
Replacement program (for the 2D version ONLY):
Two shots were accidentally swapped from the Ariel's "Part of Your World" song. Fixed scenes:
* 0:08:55 Fades into Scuttle with telescope, after "I am not (a guppy)" is said.
* 0:17:55 to 0:18:00 During Part of Your World, it is back in sync with the scenes flipped back in original order.
* (U.S.) replacement Blu-ray discs are dark blue color, rather than light blue (Blu-ray.com).
