The Arrow editions are the most comprehensive in terms of extras and containing two cuts of the film.

GENERAL NOTES:
The English version exists in four versions in the UK and US:
- The "Unrated Version" submitted to the MPAA and BBFC before cuts (106:45)
- The R-rated American version (~100 minutes)
- The UK 18 Certificate 1985 theatrical version (cut by 24 seconds)
- The director's cut (112:26) released on laserdisc with restored additional scenes

CUTS:

• R0 America- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No cuts - unrated version (106:39 NTSC).
  
• R0 Unrated America- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No cuts - unrated director's cut (112:27 NTSC) which features an additional six minutes of footage over the original unrated version (for more details see IMDB).
• R1 America- Arrow Films - No cuts - features both the director's cut (112:35) and unrated version (106:46)
• R2 Germany- E-M-S - No cuts - unrated version (102:33 PAL)
• R2 Germany- Tonpool Medien - No cuts - includes the unrated version (102:24 PAL) on the DVD and the director's cut on the Blu-ray only (112:29)
• R2 Sweden- Studio S Entertainment - No cuts - Unrated Director´s Cut (112:26 NTSC-to-PAL)
• R2 United Kingdom- Arrow Films - No cuts - features both the director's cut (112:35) and unrated version (106:46)
• R2 United Kingdom- Optimum Releasing - No cuts- unrated version, all previous BBFC cuts waived (102:29 PAL).
