On loading the disc into a player an advert for Doctor Who DVDs plays; it's a revised version of the promo designed for the DVD range back in 2003 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the show. Re-edited to contain clips from the modern series, which are presented in 1.78:1. However, all clips from the 1963-1996 episodes have had the 4:3 ratio stretched to suit the 1.78:1 of the new show (1:02). -
