OVERALL: Draw
The German release for the best set of extras or the UK release for the nearly original soundtrack in DTS-HD Master Audio.*
Do note the German release features also the original long version of the film but is not English friendly - offers DTS-HD Master Audio but only as German dub!*
Do also note the Australian release is in a wrong aspect ratio.
*ADDITIONAL INFO:
This was a German production but filmed mainly in English, including a few lines also in German and French.
It appears minor dubbing has been made; Original audio does not appear to be present on any of the current releases we have listed but it is unconfirmed whether it is available on any of the ones we don't. In currently listed versions the English soundtrack is a full English version.
Two versions of the film are known:
- Original Long Version (~129 mins)
- Shorter Re-Edited Version (~106 mins)
The Original Long Version was shown in theaters in most regions worldwide but for DVD/Blu-ray releases, it appears so far only Germany and Scandinavia (according to DVD releases) have got it while other countries have got the Shorter Version instead.
Also released in:
- Canada by MVD/VSC
- Denmark by Midget Entertainment
- Finland by Future Film
- Holland by Dutch FilmWorks
- Sweden by Noble Entertainment
If you have any of these or know of detailed review, please let us know via our forums. -
