General Note: Macross Plus started as a 4-episode OVA (35 min each). It was subsequently released theatrically in an edited 115 min version, which also included new footage (Macross Plus: Movie Edition). In the USA, the OVA and the Movie Edition DVDs were released separately; in the UK, they were released as a 3-disc set containing the OVA and the Movie Edition.
