ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Due to a lawsuit made by artist Frederick Hart against Warner Bros. after the film's initial theatrical run, regarding the sculpture in Milton's penthouse being too identical to Hart's own sculpture "Ex Nihilo", the appearance of the sculpture was altered visually in all the scenes where it was seen and this re-edited version of the film has since been available in most home media releases, except for an initial run of unaltered U.S. VHS and DVD (mainly rental) copies in early 1998.
- Even if the U.S. Blu-ray features the same red banner from the unaltered U.S. DVDs, ALL Blu-rays feature the "New Re-Edited Version" with some newly made additional tweaks to the sculpture's visual appearance since the "Re-Edited Version" on VHS/DVD releases.
- Do note the "Unrated Director's Cut" on some releases is misleading; the only differences to the "Re-Edited version" are the minor additional tweaks mentioned above; no runtime difference nor any additional/alternative scenes.
