OVERALL: Draw
R2 French release has the original aspect ratio of (anamorphic) 2.35:1 and a English 5.1 track. It also includes a good 'Making of'.
Do note that the R0 U.S. release (Millennium Series) includes an audio commentary and some extras, but it's non-anamorphic and includes an English 2.0 track.
NOTE:
We have some reports that the people who recently ordered the "Millennium" release from Amazon.com got the 1.33:1 version with no extras. Let us know if you've more info (1.33:1 version is listed from Lions Gate, but it shouldn't have "Millennium Series" text on the cover).
The film was shot using the open matte, full aperture format, Super 35. 1.33:1 versions lose picture at the sides slightly and gain at the bottom but have a common top with the theatrical 2.35:1 version (which gains at the sides slightly but loses loads at the bottom of the frame. The 1.78:1 and 1.85:1 versions are just matted differently. -
