OVERALL: Draw
The German release has the most extras and is uncut, though it only has lossy mono audio.
The French release is uncut and has lossless mono audio, but only has the trailer as an extra.
The UK release has lossless 5.1 and uncompressed original mono but the master is cut. The Full Moon release is uncut, but it is a composite of HD and SD sources.
GENERAL NOTE:
The HD master utilized for the US and UK releases is missing approximately five minutes of footage featured in the earlier DVDs (the director's approved cut).
The reasons for the cuts are currently unknown, but the cuts consist of a few seconds off of three scenes, two entire scenes missing, and a scene late in the film inserted in the place of one of them.
The director was unaware of the cuts when he recorded the new commentary track, and vehemently does not endorse this version (regardless of whether the film source was some variant cut or if it had been newly recut without his approval).
This has also been released in:
- Japan by Happinet -
