OVERALL: Draw

- For the US version, draw between the R2 UK and R4 editions, which have an Anamorphic transfer and a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. R2 Italy and R2 Spain are also Anamorphic, with a Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track and minor extras.
- For the European version, the German release has the original widescreen version but note it is anamorphic. The Polish release only has a 1.33:1 version of the film.

The following versions of the film are known:
- The original US version running ~98min.
- The European release, titled "God's Army", also running ~98min, but with the following differences:
-- A longer sepia-tinted opening sequence showing Thomas Dagget sitting in in a swing, talking to Lucifer,
-- The sequence where the first angel falls to Earth is shorter,
-- The exorcism sequence at the end is shorter and has no special effects.
- The cut FSK16 German version.

• R1 America- Dimension / Buena Vista - No cuts - US version.

  However, reports indicate that the version offered here would be a "hybrid" version with the alternate opening with Thomas Daggett inserted in the US version.
• R2 Germany- Laser Paradise - No cuts - European version (93:24 PAL).
• R2 Holland- RCV - No cuts - US version (~94min PAL).
• R2 Italy- Cecchi Gori - No cuts - US version (93:40 PAL).
• R2 Poland- Vision - No cuts - European Version with 'God's Army' title (93:42 PAL).
• R2 Scandinavia- Scanbox - No cuts - European version (93:41 PAL).
• R2 Spain- Lauren Films - No cuts - US version.
