Notes:This was initially only made available as an exclusive prior to the Blu-ray release of series 2 from Network in 2014. Only 1,999 copies were made and it was only available directly from Network.
The movie version is unrestored and taken from a 35mm print; the 2-part TV version has been restored from the OCN.
Packaging is a very slim digipack with an inner slipcase which (when removed) opens up and has synopsis and liner notes on the inside left; the disc in a plastic tray on the inside right. -

Initially a Network exclusive and only available in the "Super Space Theater" set containing all five Space: 1999 compilation feature films: Alien Attack, Journey Through the Black Sun, Cosmic Princess, Destination: Moonbase Alpha and Spazio: 1999.
The original version can be viewed with a choice of movie or episodic soundtrack and the enhanced version episodic.
The opening and closing credits are in 2.0 surround sound with the balance in 2.0 mono. -

"Destination Moonbase-Alpha" is a re-edited version of "The Bringers of Wonder - Parts 1&2" episodes from "Space: 1999" season 2, for international theatrical release and for American TV broadcast. -
