Most DVDs are non-Anamorphic, but R2 Japanese release should be Anamorphic. Let us know if you can fully confirm this.

Extended Version:
The US SE includes an anamorphic transfer, DTS 5.1 audio, and additional extras.

  :28 cuts have been made to the movie:
  -The BBFC originally cut down the hand amputation for cinema, but now feel that they did not cut enough as judged by the number of complaints received from parents. On the video release, they removed all of the build up to the amputation as it was felt that the anticipation of the act causes a lot of the terror. All details of the hand after amputation has also been excised.
  -The Sheriff twisting the sword in a victim's belly is missing the twist.
  -Dialogue is missing, where a disciple of the Sheriff is lewdly provoking Marian: "I have never seen the breasts of a noble lady before".
  -A sequence where the Sheriff is spreading Marian's legs trying to take her in the wedding scene has been removed.
• R2 Special Edition United Kingdom- Warner Home Video - Yes - Extended Version (148:38 PAL).
