Notes:This boxset contains the 20 surviving full episodes of the series & half of "The Little Black Bag" (There were 49 made in total). The reconstructions of several missing episodes marked with an asterisk (*) consist of surviving audio recordings, publicity stills, original camera script pages & CGI work from Stuart Palmer.
The DVDs come in a large keepcase inside a cardboard slipcover.
Comes with a 40-page liner notes booklet "Out of the Unknown" which contains "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun: Strange Tales from Out of the Unknown" by Mark Ward, "A Saucerful of Secrets: Shubik, Science Fiction and the Sixties" by Mark Ward, "Careful with the Axe, Eugene: Sex, Drugs and Mind-Swapping in Seventies Surburbia" by Mark Ward, an episode guide, notes on the extra features, notes on the presentation and acknowledgements. -

Only release so far.
NOTE:
As with many UK televisions series made prior to the mid 1970s, many episodes were junked when it was felt their commercial life was over. Only 20 complete episodes survive, four additional have been reconstructed and another one exists only partially. -
