GENERAL NOTES:
There are two cuts of the film. The one entitled "Dixie Ray Hollywood Star" is the hardcore version which sacrifices a number of expository scenes (while trimming others back) in favor of sex scenes (101 minutes). The R-rated one entitled "It's Called Murder, Baby" is not simply seven minutes shorter at 96 minutes, it features a number of expository scenes and elides some sex scenes with fade-outs while including alternate edits of other scenes in which the sex does not occur at all or is interrupted. The R-rated version is far more coherent but considerably less explicit. The R-rated version is also director Anthony Spinelli's preferred version. -
CUTS:
- R0 America- Vinegar Syndrome - No cuts - features both the X-rated version (101:06 NTSC) and the R-rated version (94:03).
