Notes:*Most English-language prints of the film had large burnt-in English subtitles for the Serbo-Croat dialogue positioned high in the frame since the film was shot in Super 35mm to be matted to 2.35:1 (some earlier video and DVD transfers were framed at 1.85:1). Shirek Show's DVD uses an international print like the Japanese VHS edition in which only two major exchanges are subtitled on the print itself. The rest of the Serbo-Croat dialogue (mostly during the train control center scenes) has been translated on Shriek Show's DVD with optional DVD subtitles.
The Interviews and the trailer for Witchery are in 4:3 Full Screen while trailers and the easter egg are in 4:3 Letterbox.
The DVD Cover says Amok Train while the film title says Beyond The Door III. -
Easter eggs:Found at the Bonus Features menu, the Amok Train title card (0:21)

OVERALL: Draw
Vinegar Syndrome, Shriek Show, and Shock Entertainment for the contextual material and original aspect ratio (the film was matted to 2.35:1). Do note that the Vinegar Syndrome comes from a new 4K scan (the German uses MGM's older HD master) and that 5.1 tracks on the German are upmixes.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film was shot in Super 35mm with an intended aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Some home video releases were framed at 1.85:1 while open matte editions had the optically-printed English subtitles for the Serbo-Croat dialogue positioned near the middle of the frame for the 2.35:1 matting.
International prints had only two instances where English subtitles were optically-printed on the screen while American, British, and Australian prints had optically-printed English subtitles for all of the Serbo-Croat dialogue (DVD and Blu-ray releases make use of the international prints and utilize digital subtitles for most of the Serbo-Croat dialogue). -
