OVERALL: Draw
Between the American-Vinegar Syndrome and German releases for the most, but differing extras.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in at least three principle versions:
- the R-rated American theatrical version
- the television version which trims the sex and violence but has a coda with a child in a Halloween costume (who may be a werewolf) and a priest who are both credited in the cast list but do not appear in the theatrical version.
- the international cut of the film which has some additional footage during the sex scenes, the aformentioned coda, additional takes of Danning ripping off her top during the end credits montage, and gypsy music over the rest of the end credits crawl (this passage is silent in the American version).
The alternate opening and ending have very minor differences of no consequence story wise. The opening has a different title card and the ending has some slight image changes. -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray A America- Shout! Factory - No cuts - International version (90:55)
- Blu-ray A America- Vinegar Syndrome - No cuts - International version (90:53)
- Blu-ray B Germany- Koch Media - No cuts - International cut in widescreen (90:55) and in open matte 1.33:1 (87:13 - 25fps)
- Blu-ray B United Kingdom- Arrow Films - No cuts - International version (90:55)
