OVERALL: Draw
Extended Version:
The only release we are aware of is the R1 from Artisan, which also has the best selection of extras by far across all the releases.
Broadcast Version:
If you prefer the TV version, then there are no major differences between the releases. Do note some of them are NTSC > PAL transfers though.
As an overall side note, some releases feature the mini-series split into two parts, whilst others split it into a more manageable four parts.
There are two official versions of the mini-series:
(1.) The broadcast version (359 minutes NTSC = 344 minutes PAL).
(2.) The extended version created for the Artisan DVD (361 minutes NTSC = 346 minutes PAL).
For a more detailed explanation of the differences between the Uncensored and TV versions, please visit Movie Censorship. -
