OVERALL: Draw
The Japanese 2-disc SE has an anamorphic transfer, DD5.1 audio, and includes a great selection of extras, but unfortunately this set does not have English subtitles.
If you need English subtitles, and want an anamorphic transfer, go for the R1 Eastern Star release for the extras, 5.1 sound, and optional English dub and the Australian R0 release which also has DD 5.1 and an audio commentary. -
