OVERALL: Draw
The 2023 Severin and 88 Films releases have a new 4K restoration with the original English credits, each with some exclusive extras, while the German release comes from the older HD master but has some exclusives of its own.
GENERAL NOTES:
Franco confirmed that the movie was framed in 1:33:1.
The English/Spanish assembly runs approximately 97 minutes at 24fps. The versions based on the Italian master seem longer despite having shorter opening title sequences because they include end credits on a black screen while the English and Spanish versions include a longer opening credits sequence and superimpose the end credits on the final shots of the film. -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray ALL America- Severin Films - Yes - Approximately 0:17 from the start of the film, mainly an establishing panning shot from the forest with the birds singing in the background (97:14)
