- The French 3D edition has probably the best overall extras, with an audio commentary by director Jean-Jacques Annaud, but this edition is not English friendly, and has forced subtitles.
- The German edition extras are mostly different: it offers especially an interview with director Jean-Jacques Annaud, but again it is not English friendly.
- The US edition has less (and different) extras, but it is English friendly.
