For the OAR and exclusive commentary.
Do note, the orignial US also has an exclusive commentary along with digital liner notes, but the film is cropped to 1.78:1 and 1080i. The limited edition is also 1.78:1 but 1080p, although it strips back the extras.
Two versions of the film are known to exist:
(1.) The original UK uncut version title "The City of the Dead" (78 minutes NTSC = 75 minutes PAL).
(2.) The cut US cut version titled "Horror Hotel" (76 minutes NTSC = 73 minutes PAL); in which the following is missing:
- Most of Patricia Jessel's cursing of the village in the opening scene (~0:50).
- When Christopher Lee and Denis Lotus have a discussion about belief in the supernatural (when Lotus arrives to pick up Venetia Stevenson), the Horror Hotel print removes a lot of the discussion. (~0:50).
Thanks to rewind user Tim_Rogerson for confirming the differences between the two cuts. -
