OVERALL: R2
The R2 2-disc CE from Prism contains both versions of film with the biggest array of extra features.
General notes: The original TV play was made for the BBC in 1977, but was banned by them and never screened until 15 years later. After "Scum" was essentially buried by the BBC, director Alan Clarke and actor Ray Winstone decided to remake the television version and release it theatrically in 1979. The film follows pretty much the same plot with most of the same characters (many of whom are even played by the same actors). -
CUTS:

- R1 America- Kino Lorber - No cuts.
- R2 Germany- I-On New Media - No cuts (92:26 PAL).
