The US Twilight Time, French, and UK releases for the differing exclusive extras.
Note there are two endings for the film: (SPOILERS!)
- The shorter ending - included on the US MGM and UK BFI releases: After the shooting, it dissolves into an aerial panoramic view of the lighthouse cliff top and fades to credits. This is the "director's preferred" ending.
- The longer ending - included on the PAL MGM DVD releases: After the shooting, a helicopter arrives to shore and Lucy embraces her son. Then it cuts to the an aerial panoramic view of the lighthouse cliff top and fades to credits. -
