Only minor differences.
Versions/Cuts:
Originally submitted to the BBFC in 1939 with a runtime of 104 mins 24fps (100 mins 25fps), and was cut — no details and no updates.
However, the versions available on DVD in the UK are the shorter US version with additional opening and closing narration by Lionel Barrymore, and the last scene being removed. See the Wikipedia entry for a more detailed discussion of the differences between the UK and US versions. -
