Notes:Badly cropped and zoomed transfer; DFW used the same master as the OOP US Anchor Bay DVD (which was 4:3), and they just matted it at 1.66:1. The film was shot hard matte 1.66:1 and thus the filmed image directly on the film was 1.66:1 so is cropped on all four sides.

OVERALL: Draw
R0 US release from "Blue Underground" has the best 1.66:1 transfer, audio, and extras, the UK release has a DTS track but the transfer is inferior and cropped, while the German DVD is uncut but overmatted and non-anamorphic.
Note, that at this point it seems that all versions are shorter "US X-rated version". According to Stephen Thrower the film received it's first screenings in June / July 1967 at the Berlin Film Market. It was certified by Germany in January 1968 and released in April 1968, but the US versions are copyrighted 1969.
Please see the image comparison from Here.
BEWARE THE GERMAN DVD FROM CREST MOVIES AS IT'S REPUTEDLY A BOOTLEG.
This film exists in two versions:
(1.) The German version (81 minutes NTSC = 78 minutes PAL).
(2.) The US X-rated version (79 minutes NTSC = 76 minutes PAL).
The original film had about 2:00 of lobby music played over a black introduction (the full credits actually appear at the beginning). The version which played in the US, with an X rating had this lobby music.
Upon initial release in NYC in 1969, an English language and a longer German language version with English subtitles existed.
The Anchor Bay version is taken from the X-rated American print. It is missing footage from the German print, including a different opening, different dialogue scenes, and a very different ending. All things considered, the AB print is about two minutes shorter than the German language print. -
