The French Cheyenne Films release for the anamorphic widescreen transfer of the Unrated version and most substantial extras.
Information on the differences between the R-rated and Unrated versions can be found at Movie-Censorship.com (SPOILERS!).
Notes about the "cut-scenes" (This info is from the "Cutlassvideo"): "From what I remember of the US Anchor Bay disc and the UK M.I.A. disc, they were both the same version, the "R-rated" cut, which replaces any hint of Melanie Griffith's lesbian encounters with Rae Dawn Chong with different footage. Also there are a few dialogue changes and I think part of Billy Dee Williams beating Tom Berenger while he is handcuffed to a chair was replaced with different footage. Williams' last line to Berenger at the end of the film ("Get him out of here") was changed to something more friendly such as "Maybe You are a hero". The "R-rated" cut reportedly snips some of the violence from the original cut, but I didn't notice any difference even in side by side comparison." -
