OVERALL: Draw
Germany for the German version but it is not English friendly, US for the American version in HD (it is SD on the German edition).
GENERAL NOTES:
The German theatrical version runs ninety-eight minutes while the US theatrical version - which represents the only English version as no export version of the longer version was prepared - runs seventy-nine.
The film was shot in the United States with the American actors performing in English and the German actors in German and post-dubbed for their respective versions. The English version does add some clarifying dialogue to the evil doll character and the original electronic score by Hubert Bartholomae - who is erroneously credited in the English version as "special effects supervisor" for his supervising sound editor credit - was replaced by an orchestral score by Paul Gilreath. -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray A America- Kino Lorber - Yes, US theatrical version (79:28)
- Blu-ray B Germany- Universum Film - No cuts - includes the German version (97:55) and the US theatrical version (75:59 PAL)
