The film exists in at least five versions:
- the Taiwanese version (~86 minutes), shortest but least-censored edition in the Asian territories;
- the Hong Kong cut (~88 minutes) with limited censorship;
- the uncensored American version (~88 minutes);
- the Japanese version (~94 minutes), longest but with digital mosaic censoring;
- the Hong Kong "long version" (~94 minutes), HK Blu-ray of the Japanese cut without the digital censoring but still with some limited censorship.
