The only version we are currently aware of.
The film exists in two versions:
(1.) A pre-release rough cut which has no opening or closing credits and is in pretty standard rough cut condition (i.e. lots of damage and with a score, subsequently rejected, by John Addison) and seems to only exist in standard definition from a tape source (112 minutes).
(2.) The final release version which is copyrighted 1980/81 and was prepared by New World in the USA but seems to have been the only version actually released to cinemas or home video* (87 minutes).
* This is the version released straight to video in the UK by Missing in Action home video in 1986 and certified by the BBFC on 18.12.1986 (86:48, an obvious NTSC > PAL conversion or the BBFC viewed a film print). -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray ALL Code Red #108 America- Code Red - No cuts - contains the theatrical cut (86:42) and the rough cut (111:57 NTSC)
