The US MGM for the additional extra features, although it is non-anamorphic.

Note about cuts Made before the film was released:
The final cut of the film was arrived at by the BBFC working with Hammer for its original 1959 release; as these cuts took place before the film was released and the resultant cut was the only version ever released anywhere, it doesn't count as the film being censored. In any case, it's believed that the deleted footage was junked as per standard practice.
These cuts are to:
- the scene in which Sir Hugo burns the servant in the fire;
- the scene in which Sir Hugo discovers the servant girl has fled via an upstairs window and sniffs her torn garment;
- Sir Hugo's reference to the servant girl as an '"insolent cow"; and
- a reduction of the shot of the titular hound tearing at a character's throat. -
