OVERALL: R0
U.S. for the original aspect ratio.
Do note the German and Austrian editions have the German version with exclusive footage but they are not English-friendly (the German scenes are presented with subtitles on Blue Underground's new Blu-ray 4K/Blu-ray combo as an extra).
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a number of versions:
- the international cut (~94 minutes);
- the West German version (~82 minutes) which includes exclusive scenes including its own title sequence and an extended sequence introducing Ulla's father (Walter Rilla) and the heist of $10 million from an armored car (the international version begins with Jeff arriving in Rio and the rumors that he has stolen the money);
- the Spanish version (running time unknown), unreleasted until 1972, which is based on the shorter German cut with nudity and violence removed;
- the original U.S. theatrical version (running time unknown) which deletes the opening sequence and starts with the credits;
- the re-edited U.S. theatrical/reissue version (~82 minutes for the latter) titled "Future Women" which starts the credits over the opening seduction teaser (with the theme song featuring sound effects of the plane landing from the original title sequence) before moving to the airport for the rest of the credits, trimming of nudity and violence, and the addition of action footage from the 1968 film "Sinai Commandos" to the climactic raid on Femina.
There are rumors of a U.S. version with hardcore inserts added, possilby due to distributor Gerald Fine reusing poster artwork from an XXX release titled "A Woman's Liberation" for the version titled "Forbidden" (which may or may not have been marketed for adult audiences). -
