OVERALL: Draw
Both releases have exclusive extras, but do note the UK release has both cuts of the film and lossless audio.
General Notes:
There are two versions of this film:
(1.) The original 80 minute version which saw release in the USA and possibly the rest of the world.
(2.) In the UK it was cut down to 67 minutes for cinema release and put out as a second feature.
Ever since release there has been talk of an 88 minute edit but those who worked on the Powerhouse Film’s Blu-ray could find no evidence of it’s existance beyond the BBFC listing which is supected of being a typo at the time. Even the BBFC footage listing times out at 80 minutes. -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray A Hammer Films: The Ultimate Collection America- Mill Creek Home Entertainment - No cuts.
- Blu-ray B Hammer Volume Two: Criminal Intent United Kingdom- Powerhouse Films - No cuts. Includes both the UK Theatrical Release Version (66:49) and the Original Uncut Version (80:04)
