General Note (spoiler warning):
The first two times "Zeus, by Jove" was shown on the BBC, it ended with a shot of what Caligula had done. It was then removed, so since 1977 the current ending has always been Claudius looking in horror. The deleted shot no longer exists but the story is shown in the BBC paperwork. Thanks to Spiny Norman for this information.
