Currently the only release we have specs for.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film was released in Hong Kong theatrically at 127 minutes. All video transfers of the film - apart from the Hong Kong laserdisc which chopped the film to 113 minutes including deleting the credits to fit on two sides of one CLV disc - run 124 minutes, with a few noticeable cuts that cause jumps in the music, but we have no explanation as for the reasoning.
The film was not dubbed into English for export; instead, producer/co-director Jimmy Hueng decided to simultaneously shoot an English-language version of the film titled Fatal Bet with American leads on the same locations. -
CUTS:
- R0 Hong Kong- Universe Laser and Video Co. Ltd. - No cuts (124:42 NTSC).
