GENERAL NOTES:
The film premiered theatrically with a running time of 132 minutes. Writer/director Sandy Harbutt was not satisfied with the cut and wanted to shorten it, although the distributors were fine with the running time (the film would be shortened to 106 minutes for a 1979 reissue and 103 minutes for export). For its 1985 home video release, Harbutt recut the film to its current 99 minute length (all of the deleted scenes are included on the Umbrella Blu-ray release).
