The Code Red for the original director's cut and a newer cut - both of which are less explicit than the theatrical and video versions - or the Dark Force edition for the aforementioned more explicit versions.

The film is a softcore remake of Forced Entry (1973).

The film exists in a number of versions:
- the original director's cut "The Last Victim" (~72 minutes) which performed poorly;
- at least two different theatrical issues with the "Forced Entry" title that vary in explicitness and the placement of some of the inserted footage;
- the UK pre-cert videotape titled "The Last Victim" which cuts the explicit footage into the tamer version differently (~82 minutes)
- the US videotape with the "Forced Entry" title which is different from the theatrical reissues, inserting the explicit footage from different sources, including scenes not in either theatrical reissue (~88 minutes)
- a new edit of "Forced Entry" included on the Blu-ray that drastically reduces all of the explicit content but nevertheless represents the director's preferred version of the reissue (~75 minutes)

A completist would need to have more than one version of the film, including one or two VHS releases.

CUTS:

• Blu-ray ALL America- Code Red - No cuts - original cut of "The Last Victim" (72:08) and director's re-cut of "Forced Entry" (75:13), neither of which contain rape scenes shot for the reissue version.
  Among the cuts:
  - In the sequence where the murderer stops to help a stranded motorist, the Blu-ray cuts after he grabs here whiel the VHS continues with the murderer undressing, raping, and strandling her before leaving her into the woods (2:22 missing).
  - In the sequence where a victim comes to the murderer's workplace and asks for an air bike, half the scene is missing. The blu-ray stops when the murderer has almost undressed her, removing scenes of forced penetration with objects (roughly 1:40 missing)
  - A dream sequence in which the murderer forces a tied-up girl to give him blowjob (roughly 50 seconds)
• Blu-ray ALL America- Dark Force Entertainment - No cuts - includes the "Forced Entry" theatrical cut (73:14) and the US videotape version (88:28 NTSC)
