OVERALL: R2
The UK Arrow release has both cuts of the film and the best extras. Do note, the UK Anchor Bay release includes a DTS track, but only includes the R-Rated Version.
-
CUTS:
- R0 Australia- Force Video - No cuts. Seems to be the "R-rated" version. However, compared to the unrated version the following are lost: "The 'meat grinder' footage and the eyeball bursting when Lucas lifts the severed head out of the boiling oil." Also the scene when Max Jenke is being executed has been cut slightly removing a 1 second face shot (pulsating like his arm).
- R1 America- Shout! Factory - No cuts. R-Rated Theatrical version (94:12 NTSC)
- R2 Holland- A-Film - No cuts. Seems to be the "R-rated" version.
- R2 United Kingdom- Arrow Films - No cuts. Includes the Uncut European Version (95:10) and the US R-Rated Theatrical Version (94:14).
- R2 United Kingdom- Digital Entertainment - No cuts. Seems to be the "Unrated" version, about 30s longer.
- R2 United Kingdom- Hollywood DVD - No cuts. Seems to be the "Unrated" version, about 30s longer.
- R2 Special Edition United Kingdom- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No cuts. US R-Rated Theatrical Version.
