The film exists in a number of versions:
- Italian and export version (~112 minutes)
- Canadian theatrical version (~108 minutes)
- U.S. theatrical version/U.K. pre-cert VHS (~96 minutes)
- U.K. theatrical version (~112 minutes)
- U.K. 18 certificate version (~95 minutes) based on the U.S. version with 13 seconds of cuts to animal violence.
There are also two versions of the English dub track: one with profanity, (U.S. prints) and another with softened dialogue (Canadian prints).
The German theatrical version ran ~91 minutes while the Blu-ray is based on the 105 minute version that originally played on the Arte HD network in Italian with German subtitles. -
