OVERALL: Draw
The UK Studio Canal release has the most extras and presents the film in the theatrical 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
The Spain release has an exclusive "World of Hammer" TV episode and the German release has an exclusive commentary.
Note, that many of the releases are actually cropped to 2.1:1; the film has been framed at this ratio because the film was shot with early CinemaScope lenses (the full ratio is on the OCN is 2.55:1), which causes some distortion at the extreme edges of the frame when projected through modern equipment"). Originally projected in cinemas at 2.35:1. The Blu-ray versions present both theatrical 2.35:1 and OCN 2.55:1 ratios. -
