OVERALL: Draw
Image has the softcore version in an open-matte transfer from the negative while Vinegar Syndrome has the hardcore version in a widescreen transfer from an archival film element.
GENERAL NOTES:
There are two cuts of the film:
- the softcore version (73 minutes)
- the hardcore version (76 minutes) featuring hardcore angles in place of different cutaways on the softcore version so both run approximately the same time, but the hardcore version follows the end card with three minutes of outtakes set to the theme song (presumably credits were meant to be superimposed here since the opening credits only list the two leads and the director). -
CUTS:
- R0 America- Vinegar Syndrome - No cuts - hardcore version (76:28 NTSC)
- R1 Rene Bond Double Feature America- Image Entertainment - No cuts - softcore version (73:17 NTSC)
