OVERALL: R1
The Anchor Bay release, for additional extra features.
Note:
A troubled production with a limited original release in April 1980 but was pulled for reshoots. The only version to see any substantial release at cinemas, on home video formats and television broadcasts is the 83 minute 1981 theatrical cut. The alternate endings on the Anchor Bay / Disney discs are from the orignal shoot.
The original aspect ratio according to the pressbook is 1.75:1, although it likely was only shown in this ratio in America in select engagements and at 1.85:1 everywhere else. -
CUTS:
- R1 America- Buena Vista Home Entertainment - No Cuts (83:20 NTSC)
- R1 THX Mastered America- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No Cuts (83:20 NTSC)
- R2 Germany- Buena Vista Home Entertainment - No Cuts (79:52 PAL)
