The Kino Lorber release is sourced from a 2K restoration and includes a commentary while the German release includes an additional colorized version.
This film is in the public domain and therefore budget releases are available which are best to be avoided.
General Notes:
The film was finished and copyrighted 1941 but shelved when it ran afoul of the Production Code, premiering in San Francisco in 1943 before being shelved again until 1946. -
