The US/Canada Jackie Chan Collection includes 3 cuts of the film and the best set of extras.
Do note, the German release includes an alternate commentary, but the transfer is from an upscaled source.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a number of versions:
- an extended "work in progress" cut (~103 minutes with small variations based on distributor logos) featuring 15 minutes of extended and alternate footage that reached some territories before the Hong Kong domestic version;
- the Hong Kong domestic cut (~96 minutes);
- the English export version (~91 minutes);
- the American version from Dimension Films which is based on the Hong Kong version but has its own trims (~94 minutes).
Information on differences between the work-in-progress cut and the truncated 83-minute version on the Scandinavian Blu-ray can be found on Movie-Censorship. -
