4-Disc Set. Packaged in 4 Amaray (Keep) Cases inside a Cardboard Slip Case.
Previous to this there were 3 "Very Best Of" Volumes released, which contained fewer Episodes, but better Extras, including (on Volume 1) "Of Muppets And Men: The Making Of The Muppet Show" documentary (50mins). These "Very Best Of" Volumes are now OOP, and have been replaced with this Box Set.

OVERALL: R2

There are Individual R1 DVDs which contain 3 Episodes per Disc, with minor Extras. Some of these Episodes do not appear on this Box Set, whilst this Box Set has some that are not yet on the R1 DVDs. However, the R2 contains 7 more Episodes than the R1.
