This French/Canadian/UK co-production was shot simultaneously in French and English, and exists in three versions:
- the two-part French-language version from French television (~192 minutes NTSC/~184 minutes PAL);
- the two-part English-language version shown internationally (~192 minutes NTSC/~184 minutes PAL) with some dubbed supporting performances;
- the extended three-part version (~265 minutes NTSC/~255 minutes PAL) that premiered on French DVD. -
