GENERAL NOTES:
This French/Italian co-production exists in two primary versions:
- the French/Italian cut (~96 minutes)
- the English export cut (~93 minutes) which alters the order of some scenes, starting with the introduction of Frank Langella's character at work and meeting with Maurice Ronet's character (which happens fourteen minutes into the French/Italian version), followed then by the introductory scene with Faye Dunaway's character and her child and the subsequent scene of the family at home. -
