GENERAL NOTES:
The film was shot in the 35mm Academy aspect ratio of 1.37:1 but was released theatrically in 70mm matted to 2.20:1 with 6-track audio and in anamorphic 35mm matted to 2.35:1 with mono sound. The theatrical cut ran 198 minutes while the director's cut (released on video and DVD) runs 205 minutes and includes the original ending. -
