For extras, the German Uncut Edition, US Anchor Bay, and US Blue Underground have a director's interview. The US releases are identical, but the German edition features a differing longer interview.
For audio, the Scandinavian release includes a 5.1 track.
GENERAL NOTES:
There are two principal versions of the film:
- the Italian cut of the film (109 minutes), the English/Italian hybrid version on various home video releases is not a legitimate cut of the film;
- the English version first released as "Violent City" and then as "The Family" (96 minutes) which actually features a few more English-language passages where the hybrid cut reverted to Italian. -
